Teens' Top Ten

From the American Library Association Website:

"Teens' Top Ten is a "teen choice" list, where teens nominate and choose their favorite books of the previous year! Nominators are members of teen book groups in sixteen school and public libraries around the country. Nominations are posted on Support Teen Literature Day during National Library Week, and teens across the country vote on their favorite titles each year."

James Patterson - Author of the Month

Image from Patterson's
Official Facebook Page
Our first author of the month is James Patterson. According to his website Patterson has sold more books than anyone else in the past three years.   That shouldn't be a surprise because this guy writes more books than just about anybody else, and he hasn't found an audience he doesn't like.  His latest commercial, which can be seen on his website, features
him and a cartoon boy discussing both his latest book for middle schoolers and his latest adult title.  Some of Patterson's titles you might be familiar with from our collection are the Maximum Ride series or the Women's Murder Club books.
Check out the James Patterson display by the fiction books in the media center.  It will be up throughout the month of September.  If you want to connect with Mr. Patterson, you can find him on Facebook or on his website.
